Biography
Virginia Belt began her professional dance training with American Festival Ballet in Moscow, Idaho. She then trained with Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet in PA before moving to Chicago and training with Larry Long at Ruth Page Foundation and the Hubbard Street Dance Company. She spent several summers as a scholarship student with Boston Ballet, where she took classes with such modern dance luminaries as Bill Evans and Mark Morris and was asked to join Indianapolis Ballet Theater at age 17. Virginia has also dance professionally with Duluth Ballet in MN, American Festival Ballet in ID, and Ruth Page's The Nutcracker in IL. A multi-disciplined dance artist Virginia has choreographed over 100 productions for Opera, Theater, Musical Theater and Rock Bands throughout the northwest and midwest.
