Thank you for your interest in applying to the China Advocacy Institute 2014, a post session designed to equip university students with tools in advocacy, persuasion, and social change.
The Advocacy Institute is subsidized by Willamette University as part of its commitment to global outreach, so the program fee represents only a small portion of the total cost. If the cost of the program will prohibit you from participating, we have scholarships available. Please direct all questions about the program, application process, and available scholarships to Elizabeth Garland (email: ecarson@willamette.edu, telephone: (503) 370-6447).
The program fee covers:
- Accommodations in a double-occupancy room in a four-star hotel
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on each day of the institute
- Field trips to local sites of interest
- Full schedule of classes in sustainability, debate, and visual rhetoric
