One type of resource that is available are Assistive Technology solutions. Assistive Technology covers a variety of areas of assistance that support success in academic, professional, and personal endeavors, making it easier for students who struggle with traditional methods to better prepare themselves for any and all situations that may arise throughout college and beyond. Accessible Education Services has compiled and organized a variety of these assistive technology aids into various categories to help direct students to the resources they wish to find and utilize. Students are free to use these aids in whatever capacity they find useful in their situation.
None of the resources that AES has listed is a comprehensive list. These resources are ones AES has tested or have received the best recommendations from others who have used these resources. There are a variety of options out there, so we encourage students to find the best source to use based upon their personal preferences.
