Biography
Nicolas Martell is in his third year of the JD/MBA program at Willamette University. He has been actively involved in the Joint Degree Association, as well as the Business Law Society during his time at Willamette. Before coming to Salem, Nicolas graduated with a BS in business administration from the University of Colorado, Boulder, with an emphasis in finance.
Nicolas is from Anchorage, Alaska and has spent significant time working in both the commercial fishing and natural resources industries throughout the state. Most recently, he spent time working at the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation, a sovereign wealth fund. Currently, he is the business and articles editor for the Willamette Journal of International Law and Dispute Resolution and president of the Joint Degree Association for the JD/MBA program. Outside of school, Nicolas is an avid fisherman and skier.
